Welcome the view that the things which you think are wrecking your life — like your thoughts and emotions or illness and death — are actually gifts for your transformation.

ALEX

Alex holds space for others to investigate the nature of living through earth-based somatic knowing, wisdom traditions, and the exploration of consciousness.

By attuning to natural presence and the timeless wisdom of nature we can access a well of resource and support to be with life and all it brings, including our traumas and joys.

Many of us feel thrown by the unsteadiness and uncertainty of life and are in need of a way to land more wholeheartedly in ourselves and explore what is touching us at a core level. Alex provides a spacious container to work with difficult emotions, habits, and states of mind, and turn towards what is calling for your attention.

1:1 sessions and group work with Alex is a time to get real and authentic with yourself and you life. It is a time to listen inward, to explore the root cause of suffering, and what is holding you back from living the life you most want. Through practices informed by Buddhist psychology, yogic traditions and somatic healing modalities, you will learn to befriend your body, mind, and heart, allowing whatever is arising in your experience and turning towards it with compassion.

Embodying wholeness and living aligned with Innate Goodness is likely a lifelong practice of becoming. This path includes bringing awareness into all the layers of experience at the mental, emotional, relational, and subtle levels of our being that distort our connection to innate wholeness and goodness; the wellspring of vitality that exists within our very being.

This work of inner investigation helps to refine us at the personal, relational, and communal level so that our natural expression in the world is one that benefit’s both our own life and the live’s of those we share it with.

Alex’s work is trauma-informed and influenced by Buddhist philosophy, certified in a somatic healing modality called Focalizing trained in Mindful Self-Compassion, Mindful Compassionate Dialogue, plant medicine, and the wisdom of Nature and the human spirit.

Kristy W., Professional Facilitator - Portland, OR

“Whether someone wants to begin or deepen their spiritual and inner-knowing journey, I wholeheartedly recommend Alex. Before working with Alex I had no idea how disconnected I was from feeling in my body and how often I would disassociate and abandon my self. Working with Alex is safe and gentle and our sessions feel like I am coming home to myself. My sessions with Alex are what I call 'Truth Therapy' as everything we uncover and explore when pulled from my inner knowing in my body, is the truth. I can't hide from the truth, and Alex creates such an encouraging environment that I don't want to.
